The restoration of De Mond's entrance showcases JNA Projects' meticulous attention to heritage renovation details. The French doors, framed by restored green shutters, create an inviting threshold that honours the early 19th-century Cape Dutch aesthetic. Traditional red brick flooring complements the white-washed walls, while careful restoration work preserved the authentic character of this historic Hermanus property.
Inside De Mond, JNA Projects' restoration expertise transforms historic interiors into refined living spaces. The wine storage area showcases careful attention to architectural detail, where exposed ceiling beams and traditional materials create sophisticated entertainment spaces. This interior restoration required precise coordination with roofing structural elements, ensuring that heritage features remained intact while modern functionality was seamlessly integrated throughout the property.

The exterior restoration of De Mond represents a masterful collaboration between JNA Thatchers and JNA Projects. The thatched roof restoration required specialised thatching services to preserve the distinctive dormer windows and curved rooflines characteristic of Cape Dutch architecture. JNA's roofing expertise ensured structural soundness while maintaining the property's 19th-century aesthetic, demonstrating how comprehensive restoration projects require multiple specialised construction disciplines working in harmony to achieve exceptional results that honour South Africa's architectural heritage.
