The existing manor house, part of Sir Richard Branson's Mont Rochelle Hotel in Franschhoek, was completely transformed into a four-bedroom villa that can be exclusively booked by small groups. The core building remained, while the wings were demolished and rebuilt. The old barn was converted into a gym and the garage was transformed into a suite.

The transformed living space showcases precision construction work with dramatic floating timber stairs that required specialised structural engineering. JNA Projects executed complex framing solutions to achieve this suspended staircase design, integrating steel support systems within the existing manor house framework. Custom timber treads demonstrate the craftsmanship quality expected in luxury residential construction, while the open-plan layout reflects modern space planning techniques applied to heritage building renovation.

This intimate reading nook highlights expert timber construction beneath exposed roof beams, where JNA Roofing's structural work creates the foundation for interior comfort. The built-in window seat required precise carpentry and construction coordination to integrate seamlessly with the roofing framework above. Cottonwood and SA Pine materials provide both structural integrity and aesthetic warmth, demonstrating how quality construction services can transform architectural spaces into functional luxury features.

Floor-to-ceiling built-in shelving represents sophisticated construction techniques in custom millwork and interior finishing. The seamless integration of storage elements required detailed construction planning and expert installation methods. JNA's construction team created these bespoke timber features using SA Poplar and pine materials, achieving the refined interior architecture that defines high-end residential construction projects. Each shelf and compartment reflects meticulous attention to construction detail and finishing quality.
